FIWAPAC is a public interest company.
The object of the company is financing through the acquisition of shareholding stakes and any other form, for its own behalf or for the account of other parties, in credit institutions, insurance companies or other firms active in the financial sector, without limitation as to the legal form or status.
It may carry out all missions entrusted to it by order or decree of the Walloon Region, in the same sectors as well as for the financing of industrial sectors hit by the financial crisis.
It may take out loans for which the Region can stand guarantee under such terms and conditions as determined by the Walloon Government.
